Lesson 8.04  -  Betrothal and Marriage

(Covering the sections titled:  “The marriageable age”  and “The contract, or betrothal, as binding as marriage,”  pages 157 and 158.)

Betrothal means the time a couple are engaged to marry.

ACTIVITIES:

(A)  What was the minimum marriage age for boys?                                                          

(B)   What was the minimum marriage age for girls?                                                           

(C)  How long was the normal time to be engaged to marry?                                             

(D)  Read Matthew 1:18-19.
